Ten Years of Full-Time ET Work
Not a vet. Not a part-time technician. A full-time ET and AI contractor who has done this work for over a decade.
Background
I graduated from Florida State University in 2014 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a biomedical emphasis. That systems-thinking background — variables, protocols, and measurable outcomes — directly improves reproductive management in cattle.
For ten years I served as herd manager and embryologist at Big Timber Cattle Co., a registered Angus seedstock operation. I handled donor setup and synchronization, full herd reproduction, EPD selection, and sales.
Since launching Free Bird Genetics, I’ve spent the last ten years as a contracting ET and AI technician working with purebred Black Angus and Red Angus programs, purebred Brahman operations, show cow herds, and club calf producers across Florida and the Southeast.
Most of my current work involves transferring high-quality frozen embryos, and delivering strong conception rates through conventional AI and reproductive management.

The Name
Free Bird Ventures was seeded by the sale of a bull named Free Bird, co-bred by me and my father.
The name is not a marketing exercise. It is a direct line back to where this business came from -- cattle, family, and a sale that made the contracting business financially possible. Free Bird Genetics carries that forward.
